I made a short instructional video on guinea pig handling. First, I drafted my script. Next, I made notes around my script about what I wanted my photos to show, types of transitions, other effects, and captions. I searched the three stock photo sites recommended in our module instructions, however most of the photos I liked weren’t free. I found one free image I liked on Pexel.com and a couple more on Adobe Stock. My husband helped me set up a ring light and took pictures of me and my daughter’s guinea pig, Max Winter. I recorded my narration using Audacity. I uploaded the pictures, background music from Zapsplat.com, and narration into the free version of Clipchamp video editor. The video editor had easy drag-n-drop functions for adding my transitions, effects, and text captions. The video was produced and rendered in Clipchamp. I uploaded my .mp4 file to my YouTube account as my first ever YouTube video!
